WOW it's been a long time since i last wrote. i guess it's time for a bit of an update...
well, Hidalgo is no longer with me because he turned into a very aggressive young stud- too dangerous to work with (i have the battle scar on my arm  from our little fight where he bit the hell out of me).

uh, michael and i are no longer together either, but i think we finally both agree that it's for the better. it was quite a long and ugly road that will keep me from dating any time soon. not to mention that i got my heart broken again after i foolishly trusted someone with it at the beginning of this year. so yes, i will not be in a relationship any time soon. on the other hand, living at Abbey West is wonderful but, unfortunately, i will be moving into a house to the other side of town next year.

after a really tough semester this fall (i was taking organic chem, avian medicine, and anatomy) i proved to my lovely critics that it's not only doable, but i rocked the hell out of my classes! so there!!! not only that, danielle and i joined the UGA Bhangra team- Bulldawg da Raaj in September, and my God, i would never forget our wild adventures!!! not only do i absolutely love everyone on the team, but for our 1st year competing, we won 2nd place at both competitions we attended. the first in Chicago, we lost to a professional team, and the second, Bhangra Nation in Toronto (the Olympics of bhangra) we were team U.S.A. and we lost by 2 points. (we lost 3 points for getting off stage for the girls' and guys' dances instead of keeping the whole team on the stage at all times so, we really could have won 1st!) oh, and the craziest part of all was when i was awarded the "2006 world's best female bhangra dancer"!!!!!!!!!!!! it's absolutely crazy, i mean the best male dancer was a man from a team that came from India to compete in the professional category. and then there was me with my 3 months of experience! i was soooo honored. not only did they call Bulldawg da Raaj the under-dogs (yes, pun intended) but we came back from that competition with silver and gold!!!

now, i'm just looking forward to a good semester of bhangra competitions and a bunch of chicken classes. lol i have organic chem II to worry about but taking reproductive anatomy will keep me happy. mmm, i absolutely love anatomy and physiology as weird as that sounds. and in the mean time, i will be enjoying life, my friends, horses, music and clubbing as a single woman!

HELL YEAH!!! I'm going to Germany next summer with my Dressage trainer to ride some awsome German horseies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'm so glad it's SPRING BREAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (although i will have a lot of school work to do @ home, at least i will be home! yay good food and when i want ice cream i won't have to face the ice cream people in the dining hall saying "hey, you were just up here weren't you?" or "oh, you came back for a second bowl, huh?" yeah, yeah, whatever. i just want my ice cream and lots of it!!!!!!!!!!! i wonder how high my cholesterol is? lol

on another note, i saved 2 baby chicks from my poultry project last wednesday b/c the ones that didn't hatch on time were going to be killed and our group accidentally messed up the way we sorted the different breeds of chickens for our project, so even though the chicks were healthy, they were still going to be put down. well, i helped one of the chicks hatch and then kept it in my palms to keep it warm and the other chick flew into my hand when i was messing around with the healthy ones that were going to be put down. so yes, i ended up with two chickens... a healthy one and a retarded one! lol i stashed some food in my plastic biosecurity boot and put the chicks into my jacket pockets in order to get them into the dorm. they didn't make a sound as i dashed from the front door inside!!!! hahahahaha
so then, they stayed in a shoebox at night and ran around the room during the day (when i was in the room ofcourse). danielle and courtney kindly babysat too. the first day, we had to force feed the little chicken that i helped get out of his shell. i thought it wasn't going to make it b/c it couldn't walk or eat. after long hours of chicken entertainment, the chicks ended up being called chicken little (i think u can guess which one that is) and jelly doughnut.
well the next day, chicken little was running around in thte shoebox and had already managed to peck at jelly doughnut. now the two babies are a little more than a week old and jelly doughnut is about 3 times the size he was when he hatched last wednesday. chicken little is about half his size.
i'm taking them home tomorrow so its going to be really funny to be carrying out a box of chickens as i go past the front desk. (btw, we're definitely not  suppose to have ne thing  but  fish in our dorms).
the good thing is that i will be keeping the chicks at the barn in smyrna so i will see them every day during the summer! they're suppose to grow to be 5 lb in 6 weeks( which is when they would have been taken to market for breast meat and chicken wings and all that yummy stuff)!!! and if i don't manage their feed intake after that, they'll be the size of a medium size dog by the time summer comes! lol (i'm not kidding, they are bred to get HUGE)
i have to get the pics of the chicken little and jelly doughnut when i get home this weekend so i'll post them up.
have a great spring break!!!!!!!

time to release some long-held anger………….

you know... maybe i would vacuum the carpet if every time i walked into my room it didn't smell like rotting food!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i admit, i do use the room a hell of a lot more and if the circumstances were different, it would be spotless. but, i can be quite vengeful if you’re on my bad side so…. unless my air quality changes for the better, my ass is not moving a finger!
